I can prolly make the z pedal work I can weld pretty well not pretty welds but none the less.
No progress on the z today.
But I sold the engine. Trans is still available
Wednesday I have to remove the harness from the engine and remove the trans to ship on Thursday.
I'll post pictures of the removal

Depending on how in-depth you want to go I'd say between 6-10k depending on what ls motor and how much you modify your ls befor you put it in
My motor and trans dropout w/harness and ecu was $6600 alone. Add in the Sikky conponents and you will be real close to $10K w/o wiring or ecu tuning. Then add in custom exhaust and custom cooling hoses (or a new radiator with reversed inlet/outlet), slim fans, blah blah blah and you will be at or over $12K minimum.

I need to check out your set up in person. well you and bbs350. I am trying to decide if this is the route I want to go.. If you ever have time, I would love the chance to come check it out and pick your brains.
Thanks,

Agreed. If you are on a budget I wouldn't recommend it unless you can afford extended downtime. Look at the amount of downtime that people who are well funded have in order to do it right. Not saying the swap isn't worht it because I 100% believe it is, but the build process is not for the light at heart even when you pay someone to do it for you.

Quamen , Bbs said you made his pedal for the cable driven setup. You wouldn't wanna make mine would you? Lol
Oh made a ton of progress last night. Not on the ls motor but got the vq harness off and labeled and motor and trans separated and in my truck ready to ship on Friday.
I will post pictures tonight when I can upload them to photo bucket.

Awesome I think I could make it myself but haven't pulled out the pedal yet to see how it would take and I haven't ordered the throttle cable yet.
