Slow down!!!! That's crazy talk !!! It's going to start slowing down soon I'm about out of cash in my build fund. I have 1700 for a t56 but I'll still need about another 700 forth custom exhaust/intake and another 500 to tune her

^ i used a 3" lt1 y pipe and it fit perfectly. i would imagine any sort of lt1 configuration would work, and it cost me under $100.

Short and simple update

I started mounting up the alper motorsports alternator bracket and it works well except for the fact I'm going to hVe to have away part of the block because the assembly will not rotate enough to slip the mounting bolt through. That will be fixed tonight

The other issue I ran into is with the fuel rail kit from vengeance.

The brackets they gave me aren't right at all so I will have to fab something up to make that work.

Might set the motor in the bay to map out a few things tonight but we will see

I've been working with Alper Motorsports to use their brackets on an LS2, which they are not designed for. They are great. We've been shipping parts back and forth and his been doing all the machine work for free as long as I get him pictures for his website. I can't say enough good things about their customer service!

Not saying their stuff is bad by any means it's great! But just had to do some trimming to make it fit right

^another nifty trick, as your setting the motor in, position the headers where they should roughly sit as the motor is about halfway in, otherwise youll have a pain in the *** removing your steering shaft, and front subframe brace. and dont forget to pick up that ls2 shifter piece if you want all your gears lol

Hey man I dont know if you know but the valve springs on the LS6s are weak and prone to fail if I was you I'd replace them before you have any issues. Trust me on this I have an 04 Z06

sorry for the lack of updates guys.
been busy with work so i have not been able to upload the pics
not a whole lot has gotten done but alot of planning has been finished

so the t56 i ordered was a piece of junk and i had to send it back to the company i ordered it from i will be ordering a new one once my money is refunded.

i had a chance to set the motor in for a test fit and this is what i came up with

not much clearnace between the tb and the core support

i am ordering the lines to finish the fuel setup over the weekend and i am thinking about making a an fitting set up to run the lines back to the heater core so everything will match the black lines from the vengeance fuel rail kit

oh by the way the fuel rail kit from vengeance is a nice kit! but the brackets were very wrong.

i cut the old brackets from the oe fuel rail and drilled accordingly

also i am looking into either running the oem z radiator or possibly making a custom one not sure yet gettign a few second opionions and feel free to chime in.

also the harnesses have been tracked down and completed and will be wired together shortly.

if the harness comes out as quality as the other tech that is help are hoping we are planning to make these harnesses and compete with other companies just for fun.
if it isnt too much work.

this weekends goal is install the new master cylinder and hopefully order the new trans today.

enjoy !
