I'm not toally sure how to respond, but ill say this. I was griding in the back of the pack because I wasn't sure how the car would drive, so I was with slower cars since the first car is the fastest and so on. But I had the 5th fastest time regardless of the class in TT.

What issues do you still have to work out if you don't mind me asking?

Not at all. I think I have a sticky brake piston and there is too much rear brake bias. I have a lot of blow by from the valve cover vent, the front sway bar is too close to the oil pan. Its still running a bit rich at wot. The suspension needs to be really dialed in with the weight being shifted around.

I wonder why you are getting so much blowby. Are they stock valve covers? I was able to run breather filters on mine without issue.

Yeah I'm not 100% sure either. The valve covers are oem with 1/2" B&B spacers and I've modified the baffles to clear the rockers since the spacers were about an 1/8" shorter that what I really needed. I"m guessing that's part of the issue.

My breather filter is a standard K&N and after the first session it was yellow (oil colored) and there was oil spray everywhere. I made an impromtu catch can and it was fine, but I am getting about 1/2 cup of oil in it after 4-5 laps.

I was at Gateway Motorsport Park a while back and had some bad luck. It appears the exhaust valve weld broke and totally destroyed the piston and head. On the plus side I destroyed the previous TT2 record

Here's the carnage:

New LS3 heads are on order along with a piston, valves, dry sump and some other goodies.

I'm also switching to the FR kit so parts of my Sikky kit will be for sale. Stuff like mounts, headers, oil lines and remote kit and possibly the shifter.

Yeah I'm waiting on new motor mounts from FR too. I've got a new short block and heads waiting for a cam and lifters right now. I'm making a couple other changes to the car while the motor and trans is out. That being said, I have a sikky kit just laying around if anyone is interested.

I am glad you are really using the crap out of that 350Z, alot of LS swapped Z seem to disappear shortly after they are finished.

QTB - got word Todd shipped my kit Wednesday so maybe your mounts are on the way? You custom order a set or were they "off the shelf"?
