Looked through the build does the hypertune fit into the engine bay with the 2jz? Didn't see any pics of motor in car etc.

Wow man, I know it's been said like a million times already but this is an awesome build!! Any updates with it? When it's done I would def like to check it out. I'm over near south amboy, so your not to far from me. I could def use some insight as I'm getting into the Z scene myself

Whatever happened to this build. Looks like two years in the making. Did you ever finish it?

Judging by measuring, it should.

Definitely, I am only a few minutes down 35 or Parkway.

Still going and no I have not finished it. On top of some parts taking 5-9 months just to receive, being able to afford everything at once, for me, is impossible. Maybe you do not know the cost of some of these parts and if that's the case, finding out would probably tell you why it is taking me this long.

It is still going and will go until the car is up and running.

Way to bump an old thread, but at the same time, what happened to this build and mid's 2JZ swap?

Still working on it. Just haven't been active on any forum or even social media for that matter.

Thanks, appreciate the love.

Still chopping away at parts. Changed a few things up. New hood will be here on Monday after a 10 month or so wait -_- Have been battling with Nissan for 3 months now to get part numbers and list for the seats I want. Since the car just came out over the summer, it's too new. That's what they are claiming. I have too much invested into this build to just quit so that will not be happening at all. Talking to a few fabricators(around the globe) to hopefully have some custom stuff made, we shall see what they can come up with.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Every so often I lose interest : \

Here are some pics I haven't uploaded.

Engine/Trans mounted. Everything fit well even the trans. The turbo manifold front WG tube wouldn't fit, so had to massage the strut tower a bit. The intake manifold fit with no issues. The throttle body is close to the rad support, so if we can't fit intercooler pipe I think we will make a custom rad support which will most likely happen. The turbo fits although it wasn't clocked and is going to be a different turbo instead of this exact one.

Friend got artsy with the one pic and it really shows how used the valve covers are. Those will be coated before final install.

I love that intake manifold.

To make things easier for you, get a turbo with 90° compressor outlet.

Keep it going

Garage Mak carbon fiber hood. Been a long wait, unfortunately. No hood latch so it IS required to have hood pins.

Such an awesome kit. I thought about doing the full WB but went against it ha. Gonna do Garage Mak / Voltex mix. Had some renderings made and it looked great, imo, so I'm going to go with it.
