Default Clutch replacement

Hey there!

My clutch finally crapped out on me and I am looking to replace the whole thing, I do not currently have the resources or time to do this replacement by myself, but I am making this post in regards to what you guys think my upgrade should be?

I've heard good things about the JWT 350Z Clutch/Flywheel Combo, 03-06

as well as the ACT clutch kits.

I was curious if you guys agree with is the best upgrade in it's price range?

The repair will run me about ~$650-$700 with no warranty. The car is a semi-daily driver and occasionally tracked.

Kind regards,
Prodigy

additionally, I am having synchro problems with the trans. Should I fix this 100% as I have read that the jwt can cause further synchro problems.

Thanks guys

I'm on the same page with the synchro issue. If you're going to bother dropping the trans to put in a clutch, put in a CD009 tranny.

My plan is to swap out to the CD009 and the JWT Clutch/Flywheel all at once

I wanted to do the same, unfortunately I don't have the funds for a new trans at the current moment!

The mechanic is going to check my synchro as well tho.

I'll let you know how I like the jwt, its sitting here behind me!

You might also try refilling your tranny with Redline MT85. It's a synthetic lubricant engineered with enough friction to help syncros work well. A relatively cheap, but effective, solution for gearboxes.
