finally got this junk in the mail.

ive been wanting to see what kind of difference this thing makes on the build that i already have. i want to do a before and after dyno on boost but im not sure if i have the patience to install it after a baseline pull of install it now. anyway, the mrev2 came in the mail today.

and so did the 1/2 spacer.
im excited to see/feel the difference that i hope this will make in the midrange under boost. i have a very basic boost setup and im only running 8psi so I'm not looking for any crazy numbers. i just really would like to lay down 400whp. im sure that i could have done that by turning up the boost on the waste gate, but i want to see the effects the mrev2/spacer has on the hp/tq curve.
i would like to get the car retuned and get baseline numbers and then install the kit and retune to see the numbers vs. baseline. i just want to see how this will affect the torque curve. anyway, hopefully i can be patient.
i wonder how much more it will cost to tune, install and retune. if its not that much more costly i would be game.

i took all of the turbo kit off in about 3 hours. this is what i got off and hot the car looks without the junk on.

i piled it up in the garage until i can install the new ac compressor, dryer, and expansion valve.

dont mind the spare motor in the background for when this one blows
here are a couple of picks with the brakes i installed last year and the rims i got from my boss. thank god i didnt have to buy them new with the tires on there. i got a quote for the exact same package and it was above 7k delivered. I probably would not own these if it werent for the steal i got them for.
and my wilwood custom powerder coated 14" 6pot fronts
im so glad that im running the 14" 4pot rears as well.

anyway untill tomorrow then. Im so glad im finally going to have ac again! its about to be hot in georgia once more.

not really. they are volk re30 19x10 in the front and 19x11 in the rear in gtr offsets. im not sure where you think you could have got that size for 3k new but you would be out of your mind. they are 1,100 per rim new. and the tires are michelin pilot super sports. they are the same factory rims that come on porshe gt3's. the rears are 305 width tires ($550 per tire) and the fronts are 275 width ($515 per tire). thats 2100 in tires alone not installed. so it you figure 4400 for rims, and 2100 for tires thats 6500 with out mount balance and tax. believe me, i checked before i bought them.

thanks. i would just like to have ac again. the kit burned through the lines so im taking it to have the ac system worked on so i can feel cold air again. summers in ga are no joke.

tow guy dropping my car off to have the ac lines looked at and pressure tested as well as having the compressor, dryer, and expansion valve changed.
im going to do a baseline pull here in town to see where i stand.
