How much fuel pressure?

Default How much fuel pressure?

Anyone have an idea of what to set a adjustable fuel regulator at? I'm thinking its probably around 52 lbs.

You can set it whatever you want. If you were previously tuned at 52psi then set it there. If you were not previously tuned then set it whatever you like. Remember it will drop under vacuum when you hook it up.

Just a quick question, NA application, i don't want Vaccum hooked up. I have to run a FPR off my external pump for the surge tank.

Does pressure typically stay constant in stock form, will it remain constant with the Aeromotive FPR ?

it will stay constant fuel pressure up to the point your fuel pump canot flow enough to maintain the pressure.

Pounds (lbs) is a measure of mass. Pounds per square inch (PSI) is a measure of pressure. Kilograms (Kg) is a measure of mass. Kilograms per square centimeter (Kg/cm^2) is a measure of pressure.

All to often people refer to pressure in lbs which is wrong, but we are a lazy people and say pounds instead of pounds per square inch.

Example:

Wrong way
Poser #1 "How much boost you runnin' yo?"
Poser #2 "30 pounds yo!"
Poser #1 "That's tight pimp yo"


Correct way
Guy #1 "How much pressure do your turbos produce?"
Guy #2 "Enough, now go away"
Guy #1 "Certainly"
