Default 07+ CSC Transmssion swap into DE 2003

Well my 2003 transmission 3rd gear syncro is dead!
I have a lead on a 2008 transmission with the concentric slave cylinder style locally, for a really good price.
Is it worth to presue this swap?
I will need HR style clutch and flywheel? The CSC itself?

Any tips? Not much info I could find so far.

You will need an upgraded CSC and WillWood Master Cyl. Both can be had from Zspeed.

Before you get all giddy about this, I thought there were more differences than that, otherwise I would have had an HR transmission in my old Z

There's a thread on this somewhere regarding HR trans in a DE... aside from the bellhousing difference I don't think the input shaft is long enough (or short, can't remember). The guy ended up swapping the input shafts out and it was a *huge* PITA due to bearing sizes ect.

I am glad you knew more than me, I didn't want the OP to waste a bunch of money on this.

I believe the starters are on opposite sides as well. I know my HR starter is buried low on the driverside.

^^ Hence why I think the bellhousing needs to be swapped along with the input shaft.

Here's the pain involved:
