I think he's actually looking to Friday now, right? The new, closer to production in color, plenum is being shipped overnight. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My independant dynos, install notes, and pictures will be up on the new Crawford plenum later today, so everyone will have a great amount of knowledge to make a good decision about their plenum.

Dan, thanks for providing the comparisons. This can only get better for all of us with a greater variety in choices. Friday it is...

Not a problem. My Crawford dynos are up in a separate thread if you want to take a look. I was satisfied with the gains, to say the least.

Still, I can't wait to see what LSD has put together.

That's my choice, I don't expect everyone to agree with me. That's their choice. If someone wants to buy one for me and give it to me that's fine, I'll accept it and see if I can conceal the logo.

This wouldn't be the first product I passed up simple due to logo placement. In fact I even remove the badges from my cars (haven't done the Zed yet).

Having said that I think lsdunique has handled the whole process very well. For those saying he should make multiple versions I think you should look into what that entails and the costs. I used to work for a plastics manufacturer who made moulds etc so I can appreciate the amount of work that's gone into this. I hope he does well with it.
How is it advertising when 99% of the time people will never see it? If you want to 'conceal' the logo, heres a simple way; Don't open your hood For someone who hates logos and ads, you sure make a point letting everyone know what kind of grounding kit you have and exhaust

Yes I list my mods as do you and the vast majority of the people on this forum (and every other I've come across). I do it as it helps the community in a way. I know that when I see someone with a mod listed that I've been considering I often PM them and ask what they think of it etc. I know plenty of people have done the same with me. It's part of what makes this type of forum work.

As for the plenum logo I've said enough on it. If you have a problem with my choices I'm sure you'll get over it.

I think were falling of track. The issue for me is performance first ! Style, color, Logo, who would care when you just got out ran by it. Isn't the bottom line why were buying PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS is for more HP. Iv'e seen the CRAWFORD Version5 plenum and the impressive gains it produced. There are many dyno sheets posted. I am waiting on the dyno charts for the new Plastic Plenum to make an informed dission on my purchase. I have read all the hype on it and would like to see some results and facts. As for both products, THANK YOU FOR YOUR R&D to improve the performance of the 350Z.........

The plenum looks great... And in black it will be fantastic.

Since it's seen for a full 10min for the entire life of the car I can't really appreciate why anyone really cares about that logo. What will make or break the sales is the performance imho.

Also keeping the stock bar is permission to go logo crazy in my books anyway!

Not to beat a dead horse, but I have to wonder, would people be objecting to the size of the logo if it said Nismo and not Kinetix? I bet they wouldn't.

I for one am excited about this product. It's an innovative thing this guy is doing and he deserves to have his name on it in any way shape or form he chooses. We should hope that others are willing to spend the time and money it takes to make aftermarket products such as these, without needing the deep pockets that other, more established companies have.

LOL

I see a lot of logos in your sig. If people don't like the logo Kinetix because it is not a big name (yet) then that is one thing and somewhat understandable. BUT it is another thing to say you hate logos when you advertise logos.

Look at my sig No Logos. I would think it would be real easy and cheap for the people that don't like logos to to get some bondo or other material, applly it over the logo, sand it and paint the entire plenum. The right material should also stiffen the area somewhat and reduce flex.

I am waiting for the FI plenum to come out and if it retains the stock bar and shows good gains I will buy it logo or not.

i am sure if it said nismo and gained as much if not more than the crawford no one would have a problem with it....i personally don't care one way or the other as long as it performs....and thats what really matters here

Ah well. Some people are brand ******. Can't fault Nismo for setting up a rock solid brand name.

Thank you! Anyway, it is only a few hours until Friday... weeeeee...

I think everyone should hold their thoughts/comments about airflow and should stop speculating on the performance of this plenum until we get some results...

just so you all know.

it is confirmed in the mail for a tomorrow delivery. If it gets in by 11:00am (and fed ex could not guarantee morning delivery) I will go pick it up, go home, install and race over to the dyno shop across town by 3:30 to get a dyno. If it comes in too late I will still put it in, drive it like crazy and report back with the results.

either way, you will hear from me tomorrow!
