Default Count the blinks to read code?

I noticed when resetting my ECU in the middle of the process the light blinks in the morris code like my honda did. Can I count the blinks like I used to do on my honda to read the code?

Thanks,
Chris

Yes it is a series of 3.

It will blink 10 times first then blink 3 series like
1---7---5

or 3- 6--7

The more you do it the easier it gets. Just remember to start counting the codes after the steady 10 count because it repeats while in diagnostic mode until you clear it or exit.

Then take that code to a reader or check your FSM under MIL.

It's a huge list. If you post the code I'll look it up for you.

You can buy a code reader on eBay or Amazon for ~$20 to send the codes wirelessly to your phone - and also monitor various engine data and reset codes. Well worth the investment.
