Default how bad is it when the dealer ends up putting quaker oil then...

you drive off a mile and realize that they didn't use your mobil one synthetic? my brother went back to the dealership and complained a bit because he specifically told them to used the synthetic oil. so they empty the quaker crap and put in the mobil one. So how bad would this be considering the bad transition of synthetic to normal should never happen? Should I be worried?

thx my fellow z masters=)

Heh, hardly... a few miles won't hurt anything... and even if it did, what good would worrying do? If you are really worried, just buy some of that engine treatment crap you put in your gas tank to clean it out

All the oil installers say that to you. "Once you go to synthetic, then to regular, its bad to go back to synthetic." or "you cant go back, yadd yadda." So is it true? I only use synthetic anyways.

The car originally has regular and you then switch to syn. Cannot figure out why you can't do it again.

Synthetics and regular oils play well together now. They used to not. Dont worry about it. But remember to change every 3K no matter what oil you use.

What Ive read, synthetic oils can be extended another 1000miles or so. I check the oils condition at 3000miles and its still clean. Regular oil breaks down quicker.
