Did you even read my post?

I guess the water could be a sign of minor blowby since its from combustion but this was over a long *** period of time.
Most people assume catch can juice is just oil from blowby pressure forcing it through the pcv system to be 'caught' in the can. Since this is vented, blowby pressure is whats forcing water vapor and oil vapor out and condenses in the can before its vented.

Most people have no idea how the two catch systems differ so I just assume no one does online unless they show otherwise haha.

Some oils change colors depending on certain conditions. I am going to assume you have some varnish issues. This is nearly what the oil vapors would look like if you added 1qt of Marvel Mystery oil to the sump after it flashes off.

Scary to think this also could be rusty water being flashed off, since you are venting to atmosphere (as am I).

So basically you just repeated what I said, everything inside the can is a result of blowby. If you didnt have a ton of blowby, you would not have anything in your catch can, regardless if there was a vacuum on the can or not.

2 systems? one just uses the vacuum from the intake/exhaust to pull vapors, the other doesnt.

How long did it take you to get that much fluid? You said a long time, and it looks like enough fluid to take a long time, so I'm surprised it's still that clean. I switched over to the German Castrol last change, but I don't think I changed my catch can so I can't comment if mine is only spitting red.

That does look a lot like either ATF fluid or the PS fluid I used. Changed both recently so they are fresh on my mind.

I quoted what I said before you so how is that repeating? This is about to become a circular argument and afaik we're both on the same page here haha.

Probably 4-5 months worth of fluid, also from the end of winter so condensation was higher. The other thing is, ATF is somewhat more viscous and oily. This was a little greasy but almost the same viscosity as water. And it smelled engine-oily.

The weird thing is I pulled my can again for the first time since this post, and it was bone dry.
