I think further reviews should be done on a stock only car with the plenum like other mods are done

12Sec, again, you're jumping to conclusions and making false accusations. Just like you did with ATI and your tuner. I'd suggest checking the facts before you run your mouth off.
Didn't you get banned for this once?

ZXSaint, what does that have to do with you making a mistake in the Crawford Plenum Poll?

I am an easy target.

I have noticed when people have nothing left to say they resort to personal attacks.

Default Special Request Please!

Is it asking too much to keep the drama out of this poll?

You were never called a liar, I stated the second time you were more forthcoming; big difference. You did not dyno the plenum on a stock car and I wanted that info out, you are also running the competitors cats, I wanted that out.

Everytime I start a post and say something someone doesn't want to hear (like in this instance we all like our Crawford's and won't give them up) out comes the old ace in the hole.

Throw down the Max was banned in the past card. It has nothing to do with this plenum poll it is just a distraction in hopes of silencing me.

I made a polite and respectful "let's keep this civil" post in the other thread, can't you do the same for mine?

Sincerely Max

P.S. Let the record reflect that we still have only identified ONE person who is running a Vortech who is going back to stock, not 5.

Score
34 keeping
1 going back to stock

To The To

35 keep
1 going back to stock (FI Vortech)

6 awaiting more Dyno's and data.

Meanwhile Doug just keeps plugging along filling orders while certain others send out hate messages offline to the "Crawford Crew." Last time I looked at a map TN was thousands of miles from me and I have never been there, but if I ever get the chance I would love to go because they sure seem like good people.

Anyways bump for updated numbers.

I have 2 and will be keeping both. Twice the plenums, twice the power right?

The infamous traveled plenum will probably be a lender unit. I will probably demo it out at ZDayZ.

I waited a while to see how Doug's plenum would turn out. Guess what. I called him yesterday and put in my order for a Version 5. There's enough proof out there for me now to show it's a worthwhile power adder.

looks like most people are happy with the Crawford plenum, I think this thread proves a very good point about this product.

I voted:

I don't own a Crawford but never miss a good poll so I vote in this section!

This poll needs another option:

I am convinced (pulling out credit card)

if there is no refund and you do not have a core I honestly do not see how you could get rid of the crawford unless you wanted to spend more money to get another stock one or perhaps the new one coming to market soon. (and who knows what to expect with that one)
I had the crawford and the K/N Typhoon intake. After the Crawford was installed, I lost 8 HP and 5 TQ. Also, couldnt stand the valve tapping and other strange sounds. Took it and the K/N off and went back to stock other than a K/N panel filter. Big torque boost down low. Then installed the Stillen X-Pipe catback and UR pulley set. Very happy now. And yes, Doug refunded my money minus shipping charges. Very cool guy, but the plenum just didnt work for me and my setup. Hopefully the Kinetix will get the bugs worked out, or Nismo or someone will release a truly engineered piece.

OK Keeping 40
Returning 2 ...... all happy returns

People who want a plenum from Doug please feel free to say so here too! It's not about the personal stuff it's about the product.

I got my crawford plenum and crawfor cats dynoed and I got a max gain of 9 RWHP and 20 RWHP greater past 6,000 RPM. It is impossible for you to loose 8hp with the plenum, unless you did not install it right or something. Think about what the mod actually does and it is obvious that your dyno numbers don't make sense. Something must be wrong with your car, have you checked your compression lately?
