Crawford Plenum owners only please for accuracy. If you vote then please post your handle so the board knows if you are an owner of the plenum or not, otherwise the poll is innacurate.

Keeping mine! I love the increased performance I get at the top end, Going to the strip next month, and thats where I really expect to see the gains.

I thought my Crawford plenum was helping, but my pre-Vortech dyno sucked. After installing the Vortech I sold the plenum and my dyno numbers were not negatively affected in any way. Still, the aftermarket plenum concept makes sense from a theoretical standpoint, so I'll revisit the plenum issue sometime in the next few months. For now I'm back to stock.

I don't trust people that ask for their accounts to be deleted... then come back for another cheap shot.

I can't tell you HOW many STOCK Zs I raced when I had only my plenum, included I had a sub and amp... and I STILL pulled on them. IT TAKES MORE THAN 4 HP TO DO THAT!!!! lol

Da' plenum ownz j00 in da' t0p 3nd!

No question here. Danny's independent dyno was run correctly, hfm's was not. As with Victor, I don't trust hfm's post in the least. I have already ordered the new v5 to replace the current one that I am trading in. I have a "G", and need to find someone who will cut the engine cover, as Victor has with his "Z".

: I would have kept mine but after my first car got totaled we took the plenum off and it was lying around the shop. Mike came by one day and talked me into selling it to him, now I have my new car and no plenum very sad. I am so far behind filling orders for the new version 5 that I don't know when I'll be able to make one for myself. Since I have already baseline dynoed the new car I promise as soon as I get a new plenum on my new car I will run right over and do an independent dyno of the plenum for all

I still have my plenum on the car even though it doesn't make any power when I dynoed my car( 4 pulls ). I put on long tube headers, Borla TD exhaust and AEM CAI then dynoed my car; then after i put the plenum on I dynoed again and didn't make any more HP or TQ.

ZPhatZ you are at a point where fine tuning may become a factor for your A/F. Lots of cold air in and hot exhaust out, a little tweaking would be a good combo.

Fugging Doug man cracks me up. You can borrow mine man right now if you promise to send me a free version V!

As for Chris I agree, I nailed a 13.5 with the CAI, Plenum and exhaust in an A5T! I was screaming like a demon.

I gotta get back to the track man, like yesterday it's calling me!

question for those who have them...

if you took it off would you get a refund?
didn't you send in the core and do not have the original?

if there is no refund and you do not have a core I honestly do not see how you could get rid of the crawford unless you wanted to spend more money to get another stock one or perhaps the new one coming to market soon. (and who knows what to expect with that one)

I voted to keep mine. I don't think that HFM purposely tanked the results either, maybe he just couldn't get a stock Z when the plenum came. I just don't like how people started dragging down my results, and someone even dragged Performance Nissan into it like it had anything to do with them.

Touchy subject I guess.

3 votes to go back to stock w/o giving names? .... ok... we will just assume they have no ******* to give their name or are hose posts. I asked if you vote to mention your name to keep this accurate.

When I didn't like say ZEX or UR I said so and removed the product!! I want to be clear that I paid full price for my Crawford's and do this on my own because I like the product.

If I didn't like it even though Doug is one of the coolest cats I have ever talked to I would say so. But the product works for me accross numerous applications and the guy I sold my other one too likes his he just doesn't post here.

Saying I hated ZEX and disliked the UR Pulleys was clearly unpopular but that is me I DON'T CARE what others think of my ride or even me in general so I can post this as unbiased.

But hell man if you are removing the plenum and going back to stock have the nuts to say so no one cares man otherwise it looks innacurrate.

Edit

Except the Vortech guy who seems cool and honest I repect his posts I forgot about him as being one. He has good reason, I have no problem with his reasoning, at least he has a sack though.

P.S. I hadn't seen a pic of Vic's car in ages forgot what it looked like, sweet!

We have to admit check our sigs we have some nice rides here man!
