Question about Vaccum valve
I used to have Injen CAI but recently I purchased JWT Popcharger and installed it.
I used an Injen upper pipe (one attached to plenum) instead of stock Z tube for popcharger since I sold my Z tube out when I had an Injen.
And I just realized that JWT popcharger was designed to be used in conjuction with stock Z tube, so it did not come with any inlet for vacuum tube. Stock Z tube has a inlet, but Injen pipe does not have a inlet for the vacuum tube. Instead, Injen CAI comes with shiny polished metal thing with inlet that is attached infront of MAF sensor. But it can't be used with JWT popcharger.
So, for now, I just left the vacuum valve unconnected since Injen upper pipe does not have any inlet for vacuum valve.
Is this okay? I was told by the mechanic that it does not do much so it won't do any harms to the engine immediately, and the car runs just like normal. But I'm worried.
Do you guys think I should purchase the Z tube back and and connect the vacuum tube? or is it okay to leave them out?

It isn't a vaccum valve, that is why it runs fine. It is a crankcase breather tube that recirculates back into the intake. Worst case, you will get oil sprayed into your engine bay. There is probably not a whole lot coming out as there is no intake suction applied to the tube while it just hangs out. Why don't you just hook it up to a catch can?

I'm facing this issue to but I don't understand - what is a crankcase breather tube and what does it do? it recirculates oil??? and what is a catch can? Sorry for the dumb questions but I am just trying to learn.

The crankcase builds up pressure inside it due to all the rotational movement (movement period). It needs a vent or your seals will leak or something might pop off. This is what the breather does, it allows the crankcase to exhale. The oil recirculation is a negative side effect to the process. Oil in the intake can lower the octane of your fuel (plus it's gross, IMO). A catch can catches the excess oil (literally though its not a lot of oil, sometimes there is none). I don't have one as I don't think it is very important. But I also have the stock intake tube and somewhere to connect the tube.

What does an oil catch can look like and where do you get one? How much are they and how do you secure one in your engine bay?

Almost all the oil catch cans are universal. It means that some fabrication is needed in order to put them in each cars.
In my case, I had to let the mechanics in the shop custom fabricate the braket in order to put it in the engine bay.
Z has a really tight engine compartment so there isn't much space left to put an oil catch can. I put my can on nearby the stock air filter box, but it had to be relocated after I put my JWT popcharger on. Catch cans aren't going to be just a simple bolt on. But it is certainly doable.
IMO, as Fly by Z stated, it isn't that neccessary unless you have a lot of MODS in your car. But now in my case, it is needed.
