Default Alright I need some help with my clutch..

I just purchased my 2007 350z nismo from a guy who claimed to have changed the flywheel and clutch and it ran fine for 8 months..

Now, the fluid fior the clutch is going somewhere, can't find where.. the clutch pedal loses pressure and within about 10 - 15 minutes it loses pressure completely, is this the mster or slave?

Yeah if it's the OEM slave cylinder, it's probably time to get a new one or upgrade. Google "07-08 350z heavy duty slave cylinder" you find it

As travlee said, you should do the Wilwood master too. Just clarifying since you only mentioned ordering the slave.

I did the slave all went great.. but it seems as though it hid another problem

Now, the transmission 1st to 2nd grinds going in to second unless i rev match perfectly, even with clutch in..

I assume synchro issue?

During my "test drive" couldn't exactly shift properly due to the clutch going to the floor so had no way of knowing.

Try the simple solution: change out your tranny fluid to Redline MT85. It's a synthetic lubricant that matches Nissan's viscosity requirements and enough friction engineered in to allow syncros to operate efficiently. I use it in my street and race Zs.

Hi guys, I am in a similar situation where my 08 Zs clutch bottom out when I try to launch the car. It wouldn't shift in any gear until the clutch pops back up.

So I am assuming its also my master slave cylinder. I have looked at the master slave cylinder delete or the upgrade to a heavy duty master slave cylinder. Which one would be better? I will also be upgrading to JWT clutch and lightweight flywheel while getting this master slave cylinder problem fixed. Can someone please help?
Should I get this:
http://www.zspeedperformance.com/ZSp...03-ZSP2006.htm

OR this:
https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...it-p-7340.html

I'm pretty confused.

Then it'll most likely be the master. Buy the upgrade kit including both in your first link
