Default IP differential brace input?

160000 Mile base, stock rear end and bushings are still intact (no silicone oozing on diff from bushing). Looking at purchasing this brace to tighten up drivetrain slop. Can't afford to drop money on a quaife or bother taking time to replace bushings and then rip out diff again for quaife. Any thoughts on brace?

In my opinion if you're not getting wheel hop then I don't believe it's needed. I don't have it and never been in a z that has had it though

It helps a little.

I did whiteline inserts and the IP brace and it made somewhat of a difference.

Only thing I was disappointed in was the fit and finish of the brace. I had to sand down some of the coating and also cut a little at the edge so that it would fit properly.

The brace has worked great for me. No wheel hop. No fitment issues at all (and I have the upgraded finned diff cover). I had one of the first ones if not the first one.

I have both. I ordered the brace before I realized that my bushing was bad. If your bushing is still fine, which is a surprise with the amount of miles you have, then getting the brace will help extend the life of it, from what I was told. My bushing went bad at 38k miles.

160k and your bushing is still good? Damn I need to replace mine and im only at 70k... I get wheel hop like a champ if I spin tires. And I have the oozy crackle showing.

I can't believe it either. I've been to the strip a handful of times. I will be ordering brace soon. Thank you for the input all!
