loss power?
hello guys-
I need to know if anyone out there feels that they lost power after installing the test pipes and the Injen intake. I dyno the car stock and did 2 pulls and ran a 236 hp and 226 torque. I have not dyno it yet but it feel not as responsive to the throtle as before the pipes.
Any suggestions/comments are appreciated
I'm getting the crank pulley installed on saturday and plan on getting another dyno done after the install.
anyone can tell me whats reasonable price to put the pulley on?
and do I have to go to Nissan to do it
thanks

I would not be suprised if you saw a slight drop in Torque at the bottom end of the rpm range which feels like a loss. Your peak HP has probably gone up and I would imagine the cars performance around 4k and up has improved. Also as mentioned the ECU does need some time to adjust it doesn't hurt to reset it after a mod install.

1. Unhook the battery for a day
2. Follow the instructions on the Technosquare website which is a process of turning the key to "on" and pressing the gas pedal a certain number of times in the proper timing. Here is the link http://www.technosquareinc.com/350reset.htm

Jose,
Make sure you pump the gas pedal a few times to get the residual current out of the system. I left my battery disconnected for 36 hours and it still didn't reset the ECU. Look into the other method. It's much less time consuming.
