I don't know what's causing the dyno variations, but I doubt it's wheel weight. Weight doesn't affect HP or torque. It obviously will affect accelerations (0-60's, 1/4's,...) but my understanding of dyno runs is the speed ramp up is relatively slow relative to what weight is being moved. So in effect, dyno readings are virtually steady state, hence v dot is near zero. What could affect the dyno #'s is the tire rolling resistance through variations in tire pressure, rubber temp, rubber compound, tread design, .........

I think everyone should drop this wheel tire speculation thing.

The guy says he has oil consumption issues! This says it all to me.

I drive the **** out of my car and the oil consumption is not even noticeable. its down maybe 1/4 of a quart at the time of each change never more.

If Droid has to add oil to his car in between changes, I would say its definitely an engine issue!

half-quart every 1000-1200 miles.
