Engine build on the way Dynosty or IPP
Well sad day for me due to a flat foot shifting error with my arc features causing the car to over Rev a bearing is done and car has a pretty bad rod knock. My plans were to start a 3.7hr build but unsure if I can trust a stock bottom end again. So for the guys that have built blocks short/long from either Dynosty or IPP how have they held up ?? My goals are only 700rwhp. I could care less about head work just wanting the built short block with probably Manley vhr rods and custom 11.1CR HR pistons. Any input welcomed!

Not sure what a dreamer thread is just asking how have people’s blocks held up. I’ve only heard of one guy complaining about his failed motor from IPP. But if you have no input please don’t comment at the end of the day I’m going to end up going whatever route I go

I had a pretty good experience with Kyle at IPP. I bought a stage 3 back in 2009 and put about 30k miles before I spun a bearing myself. I fault Kyle / IPP 0% as there were many contributing factors and I definitely drove the car hard over the 10 years or so I had it.
Nothing wrong with Dynosty - I would surf both their websites and see what package you like best.

Also do research on the engine 11:1 ain't getting you 700 whp, too high for 700hp of boost and the highest NA is barely into the 500s with 15:1.....that being said my vote goes to Dynosty.
Also flat foot...playing Russian roulette, someone's been watching lowtek lol

11.1:1 is fine for 700 if you plan on running using E, 93+ Water Meth, or 100+oct. A lot of cars now a a days run higher compression and add boost. You will NEED a good tuning software ie... a standalone.
When trying to get high power do the head work, power is made in the head not rotating assembly!

Sorry I should have been more specific about my set up I currently run boosted performance twin scroll single turbo kit making 566hp 480tq @13psi before it blew up so it will have no problem making 700 with the 3.7 bottom end. And I never tried to use flat floot shifting ever I just had the arc features for rolling anti lag and stand still burn outs but it was the rolling anti lag that malfunctioned.

Yes thank you For the info this is not an N/A build car currently makes over 500s boosted with stock 10:1 CR so I’m more than confident a 3.7 11:1 can make 700 with the same 13psi
