Default Oil cooler track temp

I want to compare what are your track oil temps:

In my case, Without oil cooler I hit easily 140ºC (284ºF) and I have to refrigerate. No more than one and a half lap of time attack.
With a 19 row oil cooler I can maintain 135ºC (275ºF) but is quite huge and I have to refrigerate too.
With a 34 setrab oil cooler I dont go more than 127ºC (260ºF) or little more drifting. But I think that remains quite huge.

What are your experiences? Please say if you are a good time attack driver because temps go higher with best cronos.

I measure the temperature with a sensor in a sandwich in the oil filter.
The objective in not to go up the 110ºC (230ºF).

As a SCCA W2W racer, I use a smaller Setrab oil cooler up front that keeps my HR-powered Z from hitting limp mode on all but the hottest days. The HR-powered Zs are known to run hotter than the DEs, but I haven't tried a bigger cooler. If temps are increasing exponentially during a race, I'll manage it by cutting my redline by 200-400 RPM to allow me to finish the race.

Yea I do that, When I pass the 275ºF I start to cut at 5500. Normally I cut at 6200.

What is the temperature at wich you cut?

Location and ducting of any oil cooler is crucial, basically inlet ducting should expand in size towards the back ie the front is narrower by say 12 degrees in slope. The coolers exit should be clear too, that's just as important. You guys probably know all this but meh, I have to have my say LOL

I think I have a good setup, with the oil cooler in this position: (example picture)

With the inlet of the oil in the lower entrance. I think this is the better position for an oil cooler (The problem is the refill when I change the oil). The oil cooler is also directly in front of the water cooler, so it has the same exit of the water cooler.

If this is not enought, I did holes in the bumper to have direct fresh air .
