Default Stripped crank/flywheel threads

Long story short my still learning mechanics brother tried replacing his clutch/flywheel alone and decided to use the ugga dugga gun vs the torque wrench on the flywheel install and he stripped 2 of the flywheel bolts pretty bad.

I've decided to use a heli coil for repair and I'm looking for recommendations on what kit and heli coil size is needed.

Thank You!

I'm gonna assume no-one here has ever used a heli coil on their crank bolts. You are probably on your own for that adventure.

I stripped out the threads in my flywheel years ago. I put heli coils in and have never had any problems.

Just take out a bolt, run to Lowes or any store like that match the pitch and thread and press on with life.

I bet you can count on one hand how many people on this thread have ever done it.
