Angry HELP! 350z wont start!

So let me get this out and everything i have tested.

First off, i started my 2005 350z and left to pick up some food. When i turned my car off to go inside to get it, everything worked fine. when i came back out to start the car, i turn the ignition, everything turns on, lights, horn, other accessories. When i go to start it, it just clicks once.

Ive tried, a new battery, ive tested that the starter is getting the full 12v. ive checked all the fuses, kick panel, behind battery, in front of battery. nothing looks like its bad. Is there any other thing i should check or fuses anywhere else?

I did notice that when i got my aftermarket head-unit installed it was done professionally at a store, so i dont think any of that wiring would cause an issue.

Are there any grounds i need to check somewhere?

Wet wires?

Please help.

My beautiful car is just sitting there and i cant do anything about it.

120k miles, replaced radiator, liquids. everything worked perfect.

i hear the full pump turn on so i know its not that.

PLEASE HELP!

The closest nissan dealership said that it was something with the steering lock box??

It could be the Nissan Anti Theft System causing a problem. If so, you probably need to have the car towed to a dealer so they can sort out the problem.

If it just clicks once then usually means there is a bad connection on the battery terminals if the battery is fully charged like you said

If it clicks once, it's probably the starter. If it makes no noise, that's something else and kinda difficult to diag without seeing the car.

If you know where the starter at, give it a kick or lightly hammer it. It'll give you couple more times of use.

A friend of mine had a Ford Ranger years and years ago, the starter began going out, he would have to crawl under the truck, hit it with a flashlight a few times and hurry up and crawl back out and start it up, he did this for a month or two before it finally gave out completely.

I'd agree with the other posts here: it's either a poor connection at the battery (full power not available) or a defective starter. Check the grounds carefully and the condition of the terminals. Let us know what it turned out to be...
