Default 2004 350Z clutch/transmission issue

Just a bizarre question really. My car hesitated to start, the clutch was slightly grinding into 2nd gear. It turns out one of my coil packs wasn’t connected properly. After replacing it, the cars starts up great and now the clutch/shifting issue is gone. Never heard of something like that causing issues shifting. Could a coil pack really cause that problem?

Not that I can think of. Clutch system is purely hydraulic. The grinding into 2nd is totally gone now? If not, bleeding the system wouldn't be a bad idea if you have a couple hours.
