Default Throttle body head bolt stripped

Was trying to remove the throttle body and the top 2 bolts no prob. Got to the bottom right hand side and i guess the 5mm allen socket wasnt at the right angle and now the ***** is stripped. Any ideas on how i can get it out?

Depends how stripped it is. You could try hammering in a torx but that’s a little too big and hope for the best, or you could try pounding a socket over the head thats a little too small. Make sure all the other bolts are out before trying this, that will help it come out much easier.

Can I assume you’ve taken the plunum off the car?

If not, take it off and use vice-grips or the aforementioned extractor bolt.
