Weird Clanking = bad driveshaft U-joint?
Hey all, 2003 350z Touring AT owner here.
ive been experiencing some clanking noise coming from underneath my car, especially when I drive at low speeds. When it was put on a lift at some random local shop just to see if something is loose, there was a lot of play in the drivetrain and I was told it could be the bearing inside the driveshaft but another mechanic I trust but who was out of town told me it was probably the universal joint in the driveshaft.
ill admit I’m kind of a noob when it comes to this stuff so would anyone tell me based on the sounds in the video if it’s likely the u-joint or something else and if it’s an expensive fix. Doing some googling I think I’m looking at like 400$ total with labor if it’s the u-joint. Sounds about right?
thank you all in advance! Kinda freaking out lol I hope it’s nothing major...

the sound isn’t coming from the engine 100%. Checked it inside the cabin, checked it running when I popped the hood. The oil has been changed recently I only use Mobil1 synthetic. The belts have no cracks I don’t think it’s relevant at all. I’m a noob but that not much of a noob to confuse engine knock from some weird clanking😂
