Default Getting Borla TD installed next week, price?

I am going to get the Borla TD installed next week by XXTuning in CT. I was just wondering what a "good" price for the exhaust + installation would be.. I havn't called yet to make the apt but I just want an idea of a good price before I call.. I know the exhaust can be bought by itself now online for as low as $700, some even with free shipping.

About 6 months ago they quoted me a price of $760 installed but I think they said that was a "special price" for the 350z meet we had there at the time..

Is it fair to say pretty much under $800 is a good price? I just want to hear from other people and how much they paid for the Borla TD installed.

Thanks!

I'd say that sounds decent. You may want to try installing it yourself; all of my mods have been DIY mods; not only is it cheaper, there is a greater sense of satisfaction when you do the job yourself. I would suggest getting a good jack and some jack stands and tackling the exhaust yourself, it is one of the easier things to replace. If you decide to do this, let me know, I have the Borla for $665 shipped to your door.

I saw under $700 shipped...... One group buy a few weeks ago offered lower $600s shipped for the dual. I personally wouldn't pay over $700 with installation.

You wanna get the best deal you can, right?? Negotiate

do it yourself, it is easy.

if you were thinking about doing your cats, buy some and do them at the same time.

Ya I was thinking of doing it by myself, but the weather around here has been in the 20's and working with your hands in that weather is no fun..

I got a price from xxtuning, they want $780 installed + tax. Not too bad, I could probably save myself $80-100 by doing it myself but i'd have to wait awhile and I want it now..

I did everyhting else myself, my intake and my grounding kit, i'm gonna pass on this one lol...

I got mine from a group buy for $650 shipped. Taking off the old and putting on the new only took an hour with jack stands and a friend to help. So if you don't want to do it yourself, a decent exhaust shop should only charge for one hour of work.

Well I already had a few days off early next week so I am getting it done by that shop in CT since they can have it at their door by Monday and have it installed.. Basically I am paying extra for the convenience factor.

I do have that feeling that I am not getting a good deal but I am kind of looking forward to the drive down to the shop, its about 75 miles from my house and I haven’t taken the car for a highway ride in months (probably since late Oct), I been just trudging around in Boston traffic with it all winter.
