Starting problems
Hi Guys,
i have strange problem with my Z. Recently i bought 350z with starting problem. Obd scanner shows fault P0335 which is Crankshaft sensor fault, so i bought a new one. (Old one was disconnected). I visually check the wire, but doesnt look Interrupted. With disconected sensor the car starts on second try then engine runs and drives well. When i fitted and connected new sensor car just cranking and doesnt start. Also there is no fault in obd scanner(it is not a cheap scanner from ebay, but professional one) . If i disconected sensor car start on second try. (I have 3x 350Z's so i try new sensor on my other cars and they started well with that sensor). I also change the spark plugs but with no change. Otherwise the car works perfectly, I have driven over 600 miles with it, but it always starts on the second attempt only with the crank-sensor disconnected. What to do next?

No, but i have 3x 350Z, so i tried this sensor my other cars and it works well. Also i tried to put original sensor from one of my other Z's and no difference. Still have same starting problems.

If you're 100% sure that sensor is ok, the problem is in the wiring loom that leads to the sensor. You have to separate the wiring insulation and check the cables for any breaks/demage
