Default 350z without engine compartment

Hello. i want to buy nissan 350z, it is my dream. I have found a really intresting one, it is cheap and its' condition is almost perfect except one thing. There is nothing in the engine compartment. The previous owner has sold it completely. I will attach a photo of it. But I still want to buy it and repair it, as such a car shouldn't be witout its' heart. Therefore I have a question. Can you give me a list of parts that I will need and, if there is such a thing, I would like to see the bluseprint or something similar of the engine compartment in order to understand, if I am able to repair it or it is a lost cause. Thanks in advance.

That's a joke, right?

If only the engine was removed, then you could certainly swap in a new one. But, there's no way of telling what else it needs until going through it. If this is your first Z33, I would not recommend getting it unless it's basically free.

Lessee…. Factoring in:

Headlights
Bumper assembly
Bumper fascia
Grill
Radiator
Radiator support
Engine
Wiring harness
Possibly ECM if guy sold engine with it’s ECM

And….other things unseen (but presumed missing or damaged)…

Transmission
Alternator
P/S pump, hoses, maybe box n’rack
Shifter
Drive shaft
Battery and cables
And who knows what else….

You’ll likely need to buy a parts/donor car which is likely in better condition than this one. First Z? As mentioned, save up and buy a complete car in the $5-6k range cuz you’ll be spending at least that much on this thing and likely still won’t be complete.

Granted, this is all guessing but so is ANY answer you get online with no hands on.

Jeebus.....in before he buys it, and a month later he is in over his head and nothing gets done he sells if for scrap. Its prob been wrecked, fender is different color than door, windshield looks cracked. This car would be more suited to be used as tiny home for a bum or a portapotty, portapotty more appropriate because this car is already a turd

Here are some photos that I haven't attached, as I thought that they are useless for my question. The interior seems to be ok but there are no door cards and wheels These are all photos that I posses. At least there is a shifter so there will be no need to buy it

Your OP doesn't mention anything about your mechanical skills, access to tools and a heated, covered garage or area to rebuild a Z. Judging from the content of your posts, I'd say there's nothing to calculate, and that you're dreaming if you continue thinking you can complete this project economically. Mic provided a good list of all the parts needed to rebuild that stripped Z, but it's difficult to estimate how much TIME and EFFORT will be needed to properly do the job.

Nissans are precision-built vehicles and this Z has been thoroughly deconstructed. Despite 35 years of building and racing cars (and Zs), I wouldn't want to take on the task of trying to rebuild it. You're much better off taking our advice and dropping this Z project like a hot rock, and saving your money for a complete running car.

I have garage and instruments but yes, my mechanical skills are weak. I understand that it won't be cheap to repqir this car, my main aim was to try my powers. But now, I see your point and almost certainly will not buy it. Thank you everybody, has participated in this discussion for saving my money from a great mistake
