Engine install no pulse
Ive read alot of posts on here and gotten alot useful information. Got alot of conflicting as well. Hopefully some1 will have some answers for me. Thanks in advance.
Took out 2006 rev up out of car to install built for boost reg de. Before i did i search many forums but couldnt get a definative answer on compatibility with rev up harness and ecu so i contacted up rev tuning as i had tune on car and they said that i would have no issue besides error codes but motor will run. So i swapped and engine would turn over but not start. I asked up rev what i should check and they sent me an upload to install to delete nats. Still no start.
ive got power at both injectors and coils but no pulse at either. Ive tried starting with up rev program open on lap top and its showing the rpms as i turn it over leading me to believe crank position sensor working with after market z1 flywheel. So I have a total of four plugs that are not plugged in the two on the back for the camshaft position sensors and the two in the front for the. Exhaust VVT I guess.
so here are my questions if anybody has the answers:
what should I check next to see if it's my ECU that's just not going to do what I need it to do? And what would happen if I just bridged those unplugged sensors to provide a signal to ECU? Any other ideas thanks again in advance and sorry if the answer is in a thread but I couldn't find it
