Contradictory info on rpm levels on European DE, revup and HR engines
While researching 350Z engine types, I ran into this Z for sale in europe. A 2007 roadster, non-HR. I would assume that it's a revup, with the 7K redline. However, as you can see on the pictures, the redline is 6600 (non revup DE). Did the roadster Z come with different engine types/model years in Europe? Or just a case of a gauge cluster swap? Ad also says 280HP, but the registration check shows it was first registered in 2007... Thanks!
In the states, the rev-up and HR (06-09) came with an updated center console, and different tail lights and headlights (in addition to the obvious different engine). Other body differences included the hood "bump" on HR-equipped models while the rev-up retained the same hood style as the non rev-up DE with the two lines.
If this Z was in the states, it would be a non rev-up DE produced between 03-05.
Obviously, a picture of the engine would definitively tell you. Maybe the dealer can send you one?
Otherwise, it seems like this advertisement has false information.

The date of production seems way off, unless there were some regulatory issues with importing the HR equipped Zs into Europe. Or is date of production a translation mistake, maybe that's the initial registration date? But that is most definitely an 03-05 Roadster with the Non-Revup DE (at least from a US-Spec perspective).
