Default Anyone with a JUN Lightweight Flywheel burn their clutch?

Anyone smell their clutch burn or slip when accelerating under full throttle? I have had my flywheel on for about 6 months or so and the clutch is now starting to slip under heavy acceleration.

Im using the stock clutch. I don't drive any different than before. I wonder if the stock clutch doesn't like the flywheel very much?

i remember someone sayin something about the jun developin hot spots durin hard drivin that could cause slippin. now i don't know if this is just detrimental to the flywheel/clutch's performance or if could lower your clutch's life expectancy. i kinda want the jun for the simple resurfacin capability. anyone have any other opinions?

its not the flywheel thats at fault, its your clutch just "going" - whcih can happen at different times of different cars, or your driving, or both.

Z1 I think you are right, it is just the clutch is going out. I do drive it alot harder than before the JUN was installed. Since nobody else has had problems is probably is just time for a new clutch. Thanks everyone for your input!

Well, the stock clutch is rated at 850KG which is pretty good for a stock clutch, and should last you a while with bolt on upgrades. The Problem i've seen with JUN Flywheels are Hot Spots. Because the friction plate is so thin, the flywheel will tend to heat up, causing the clutch disc material to heat up. Thus, burning out clutches, I've seen this many times with the 300s. But I guess we'll start to see the verdict as time passes. RPS really needs to come out with their flywheel for the 350Zs, cause those are hands down the best flywheels every created

Default Flywheel/Clutch

A little off the topic but felt I'd pass on the following. I had recently switched to a JWT flywheel along with my SPEC stage 3 clutch. Coming off the line (2nd time) the flywheel "dipped out" and froze the clutch to it. This is coming off the line @ 6000 plus rpms so keep that in mind. Knowing I need a strong clutch, I've switched back to the stock flywheel with a new stage 3 SPEC. I probably need to try the JWT combination(their flywheel & clutch) to see how they stand up! For now (always in a hurry), I needed to go with what I know "works"!
