How come poeple dont use it? Is it even out?

I don't think the pulley is what he is talking about

If you mean the engine topruq dampener (looks like a small shock that mounts between the engine bay and the engine), they are coming soon - I ahve on en route as we speak from japan. Not sure what it will really do, as the engine seems rigidly mounted, but good for teh show car crowd I suppose

well our cars engine moves like crazy during the revs. If im correct, engine movement like those causes bad power deilvery to the wheels. If we get torque dampers.... we would not loose as much HP to the wheels right?

i had a torque dampner on my acura rsx and it caused a lot of cabin vibration but eliminated wheel hop. i don't know what the advantage would be with one on a rear wheel drive car. is this going to be on nismo's list???

Yup, using some new motor mounts with solid urethane in them would be the best way to go. Too bad they introduce a lot of vibration into the cabin but they do work really well. Wheel hop is pretty much eliminated and more power is transferred to the ground on take offs.

so dwnshft, when are the "real mounts" coming out? or are they out?

Id love to get rid of hop. itd be my next mod.

jason, do you know if that part will fit on a G35? it looks much better than the other one (sorry moog )....though it is much more expensive.
