regardless of all the insults, I got a custom made 6 wire blue grounding kit from z327 on 350zforum for $58 shipped. It has smoothed out my idle (since my idle has been a little shakey since my popcharger install) and smoothed out my acceleration. Thats why I bought it, if it does any of the other stuff that is fine. I wouldn't pay over 75 shipped for one though.
As for the insults, what a bunch of ******.
That is all.

It’s all good people! In fact, I thought the write up was rather funny. Everybody is entitled to express themselves here, that is why the forum is so great. Besides, if I can bring that much joy into somebody’s life then it was worth it!
Anyway, some of the benefits that were listed by “supirio” are general benefits. For instance; I sell a lot of these kits to the Acura CL crowd not because it helps out the throttle response OR the idle (have you ever seen a jumpy idle on a new Honda???) but because the kit cleans up a god-awful whine inherent in the stereo system. Go figure.
I don’t know where the comment about the windows OR the emissions came in – possible from the ole “cut n paste” action.
Truth be told, the grounding kit DOES provide for better ECU function AND better grounding for the electrical system. And better ECU function means better performance, better grounding means less resistance.
Best of all, the grounding kits are engine jewelry! Why else would I carry 11 different colors???
I still appreciate all of the support you guys have given me!
Peace -

You're a moron. I can't believe you are wasting bandwidth that someone pays for in order to post this trash, and I almost feel bad for contributing to the life of this thread.
You aren't even qualified to make most of the statements you made, such as the one about cleaner exhaust gas -- what, did you test it on an emissions machine?
PROTIP: Next time you write a review try, not to, use commas, in a completely, arbitrary, fashion, and also make sure that you, are qualified, to, speak on the subject, matter.
edit: I can't believe you actually thought the windows would go up faster. What a mongoloid.

The guy wasnt negative. He was a little sarcastic for humor's sake only. As a genius you should have figured this out.
The guy took time to post an informative review that was for the most part positive, and you slam him. I am having serious doubts about the validity of your self imposed genius title, becuase only a moron with nothing better to say would attack like this unprovoked AND pick on punctuation.
Lighten up and quit being such a dik, Richard.

. Ohh! poor little Richie.I bet you're too much of a gay cat (P..sy) to voice your opinion in person, let alone call somebody names. Say that to my face, I would love to drive your snotty brown nose deep inside your head and let it out the back. Maybe then you'll know what an a$$...e smells like.Anyways, I had the grounding kit for 10,000 miles, took it off to clean it. I drove the car without it and honestly cannot tell any difference. The engine still runs smooth, idle is stable, the crappy Bose is still crappy
. I thought I felt a difference the first time I install it, maybe it was just a placebo effect. The product itself is great, no complain. Thanks Insaneamine.
Well, I just read in SCC that grounding kits can make 10-15 horsepower on modern engines. And if SCC says it's true, then it must be true...
I'd like to see why Nissan couldn't spend the extra $2-3 in production if it could net them an even 290 HP rating or something. It could be a power bump for a model year even.
Edit- make that Turbo magazine. And I do have one of the kits, not trying to flame anyone.

The second part that gets me is the fact that a lot of the points he "adressed" in his "test" of the grounding system are pretty much invalid from the get go, and we all know it. You and I both know that this is not going to speed up the window motors. This is common sense, which there didn't seem to be a lot of in the poster's initial post.
While I do think that my original post can be conveyed as harsh, I will not apologize for it. I meant what I said and I said what I meant. I responded to the poster in a manner which was about as abrasive as his post was retarded or overplayed, and it was perfectly called for in my humble opinion. Not a single new thing was stated in his initial post, and although the good intent was there he would have done better to just read the hundreds if not thousands of other posts collectively made by this community on the same topic over the past couple of years.
At this point in time my350z has become not only a community but a veritable archive of information, a very wealthy database of knowledge that eclipses the experiences of any one individual. We have had experts from all aspects of car development post here, from design to engineering to sales. Other types of car enthusiasts should be so fortunate to have a community this large, dedicated, and most importantly intelligent to make all the discoveries and do all the hard work with new hardware. Most of the boards I look over for other makes and models are 90% full of useless ricer trash talking and other uneducated garbage. I have been condemned for it before, but I will say it again and again: there is NO reason for recurring posts like this. It serves to do nothing but clog and water-down the collective of information that my350z has become.
While I am acutely aware of the fact that my350z seems to be transforming into a working microcosm of the saying "history repeats itself", I think a great deal of this could be avoided if more emphasis were placed (by the poeple in power) on exactly how effective the search feature on this forum can be!
I dont think anyone of us gets enough info from just one post regarding a product. I think different people posting their own opinions and the diversity in the way these opinions are expressed is what leads us to make a decision on a purchase.
There probably have been at least 30 posts of people describing their Jim Wolf Pop Charger 'experience' yet I have not seen you complaining about the redundancy there...... Myself I read all of those posts and I was grateful for the different views and different wording on the subject as I was for the grounding kit review by this poster.
It is also good for people who are new to the 350z to post their experiences with a product that has already been reviewed. The new post might let a newbie know about something that they didnt know existed. Currently all the grounding kit reviews are burried in the archives. It is good to have a fresh one issued.
If you are tired of Ground kit reviews why did you even open this thread????
I dont like the fact that I resorted to name calling Richard, but there are plenty that appreciate this thread myself included., and you should realize that. It takes effort to post a review of ones experience with a product. This guy was just trying to help. It just seems you were in a bad mood and wanted to bash someone.
If you are going to get so mad about reading a redundant review I suggest you just dont open the thread next time instead of breeding dis-harmony on the boards

Well I don't even own a Z and appreciated the thread. I was wondering why people were listing Grounding kits as mods.
I might even try an extra piece of welding cable between the block and battery, for giggles, certainly beets the THHN wire Ford used.
God knows I need more torque!

Oh well, it's something to look at. It'll take attention away from the lack of turbos and intercooler. :-D
I didn't expect too much from this wiring kit. This is why I got this stuff:
Ground Wires -> Eye candy
PopCharger -> Sound
Later on...
Turbos -> [evil laugh]

First mod I did to my car, way over a year ago. The idle felt smoother to me then, my dealer even noticed it. More power, probably not. I like the look and the quality of the craftsmanship on the kit I got from insaneamine. To me, it's a keeper.
