Default Recommend Greddy EVO2 for NA Z??

Any info?? I'm hearing like different answers, some say I'll loose Low end some say they didn't feel a difference. If we had some dyno graphs that would be cool but I've searched and haven't had any success.

this is the exhaust that I want to put on my car too.

For FI application this exhaust does add alot.

For NA, no one really knows, unless someone can provide a dyno chart. However, if you really want to compare it. Unless, some magazine did a shoot out (which dyno all exhausts on a same dyno in the same day with same car), otherwise, it is not creditable.

From my past experience with products from Greddy. Their qualities are definately top notch if you compare with Stillen, or Injen, or borla.

Greddy/Trust are acutally really big company and has tremendous racing experience and strong engineers. Not to mention they have the financial powers to do lots of R&D. Where Stillen, Injen and suchs are like small potatoes.

I've got the Evo II which will be installed shortly. I don't know of any dyno numbers for N/A cars, so I kinda took a gamble in buying it.

I'm thinking of possibly dyno-ing my car before and after, but I'd like to see if anyone is interested in me doing that. I'd also need to find out how much 2 dyno runs would cost first.

I just installed my Greddy EVO2 last weekend, I love it. I didnt dyno it, but i can tell you this, you will not feel loose at low end, I had Topspeed Pro-1 and I can really feel the lost at low end, but after installed EVO2 I felt my power is back, more powerful at the low end then high. I think this exhaust worth every pennys.

Sorry no clip, but I will try to take some pictures for you tomorrow. I dont have Turbo in my car yet, and probably wont for awhile. I think the piping on this be 2.5inches. This exhaust is just awesome, not loud, but I installed JWT popcharger with it and it sounds like a turbo car when I push on the gas.

Greddy is 60-70 mm, says the manufactor I believe. It seems to be a cross between FI and N/A. Exclusive N/A have a tendency to be around 2.25" and FI needs to be 2.5" or more. The greddy seems to be the closest to date around 2.5" in diameter, although the 60mm does show that in some areas of the pipe it is smaller.

I havent heard the sound on greddy, but my philosophy is this and i'm sure people will see my reasons. I think that if one should get an exaust, that exhaust should be a really good and well engineered exhaust. THe engineers should have forced induction in their minds but should also cut and shape the pipes in a way that even a stock or highoutput Naturally aspirated engine could very well take advantage. Since there are so many hardcore japanese racing companies making exhaust for hondas there ends up being a couple good exaust for a few cars in that genre of cars that no matter what stage of tune the car is in the exaust will be one size fist most tune states but not an overly sacrificing compromise of flow for the guy boosting 11 psi.

one exaust that i was considering for my old car was buddy club spec II which was that exact type of exaust. My buddy with the prelude HAD A GREDDY EVO AND IT WAS GREAT!!! it was not too loud and he even used N2O and the exaust gave him so much extra power when he used the nitrous but he could also feel the revs and responsiveness while he wasn't on the nozzle.

Form my experience and what i hear from greddy testimonials it is a great exaust.

ASK cheston how the progress is coming with the diffuser he is fabricating for his car and if he and technosquare are going to be selling it? it is a great mod for people with aftermarket exaust that want the power at not too much of an aerodynamic compromise.

Compare to stock, I will say about the same or sometime I feel even quieter then stock if you have just this exhaust and no other mod or turbo. I was surprised how quiet this exhaust was.

Hey!
I have the EVO II for a couple weeks now and all I can say is that is much better than the Borla TD that I have... better quality, better sound, and of course better performance... I will go again to the dyno (280 rwhp with Borla TD) but I can guarranty that the car gain a few HP... trust me I race my 350Z buddy's all the time

Hmmm, great info. Nice to see someone that has had both on their car be able to compare the two exhausts. How do they compare as far as sound through the rev range and idle, and would love to see your comparison of dynos.
