I was just driving normally when I heard a loud bang under the car, I thought it was just rock from the road so I didn't bother about it, then I started to smell a high smell of gas. I pulled over to take a look under the rear passanger side to find a small pierce in the tank with tons of gas coming out. So i rushed over to my friends house since he was about 2 mins away.
What would be the quickest way to patch her up until the morning??? I don't know what to do.. Right now i have her up on a jack letting all the gas leak out. I have no clue how this happend but i felt the whole it feels like someone shot a bullet in it the whole curves to the inside of the tank.
How does towing to the dealer go is this covered under warranty??
I would soppose they would have to install a new tank, would this be covered also??
Excuse me if I'm asking so much questions, its dark as hell outside and the dealers close, and im about 20 min from my house I don't know what to do... help.

Can't give you specific advice... But on an episode of Monster Garage I saw Jesse James use some kind of epoxy to temporarily seal a hole in a leaking fuel tank. Might ask nearest Napa store.

Race cell for a daily driver??? Lolz. No disrespect, but if homie wants to turn it in to a race car, not a bad idea.
Well hey, don't mess around with patching and back to driving. If that **** lights up, you're going to be in more deeper ****. Just call for help. Call your dealer and go from there...

The hole is smaller than the radius of a pencil...i would hate to have to buy a tank at 300 a pop for such small damage. Hopefully this works.
Thanks for the advice guys keep it coming
I wouldnt ride that long term. I dont know the exact liability your running, but... yeah. Id check with the dealer to see if theres a good way to patch it that they would reccomend, or to replace if needed.
20 gallons in a tank is a fair amount of pressure on the bottom of it. it should atleast be patched with something solid, and with a good joint to be sure it wont break loose when you fill the tank and bounce around.

Ummmm instead of going to the dealer or what not and spending the 300 for that gas tank. Do what I learned from my father a long time ago. Try to look for a in-tact 350z gas tank at a junk/salvage yard. Who knows you might find one and will prob. get it for a lot less cheaper then 300. GL
Is the tank made of metal or plastic? If it is metal call a radiator shop and see if they will patch it. Some shops don't mess with gas tanks, but some will just call around. Cost would be a lot less and if the soldering job is done right with a metal patch soldered over the hole then you will have no problems.
GO through with ur insurance. It should fall under comprehensive. Depends on ur deductible. Mine is $100 deductible for comprehensice. U might want to check with yours.
