you won't see much.... maybe 8 or 10 RWHP. Did you do a baseline dyno run before making the mods? If not, there's no way to tell what improvements you realized from the modifications.

no i didn't do a baseline..... you think i'd only pick up 8-10 with an apexi cat back, kenetix plenum, and the injen cai?
i was hoping for a little more than that

i remember the good old days in the rx7 when you slap on an intake ,downpipe , catback and pick up close to 50 hp

ya well zs dont have a turbo...na tuning cost lots of money for little gains, with that said though slap a turbo on the z and watch those numbers skyrocket. greddy kit is supposedly good to about 700whp with a built block. something difficult to do on a 7, reliably.

btw is it a 2nd gen or 3rd gen that you own?

The VQ35 is already highly tuned from the factory to make its 287hp/274tq numbers... adding a little more breathing doesn't do all that much for it...

I gained 11 rwhp and 12 lb-ft with NISMO intake, Crawford plenum, NISMO headers and Borla TD (with cat pipes, I lost 4rwhp at peak but gained almost 10 lb-ft across a wide rpm range)

To really take better advantage of the mods, look into getting an ECU reflash from Technosquare. From what I undersand, they have different maps for different combinations of mods, so they can match an ECU program to your mods. That will get you smoe more power.

Or, get a supercharger!

also... take those 19" wheels off the car and run the OEM wheels... you are losing power trying to turn those wheels

My car with just a frankencar intake gained 5 hp and 7 lbs of torque. I have the dyno to prove it.

Im also a automatic with just a intake i had 240 hp and 225 torque.

I know for a fact with my injen ses exhaust, underdrive pulley, and grounding kit i will have more. I believe this because i can feel the gains while driving.
