HELP...Service Engine Soon light?
I was doing a couple things under the hood today and i unplugged a sensor on the back of the intake manifold to free up some room. When i was done i totally spaced to hook that sensor back up. Soon as i started the car, boom service engine soon light came on, and thats when it hit me about that sensor, shut the car off immediatly. Hooked it back up and started it, it was still on. So pissed, i unhooked the battery and pumped the brake pedal a bunch of times. I let it sit for about 2 hours, went back hooked it back up and went for a drive, came right back on as soon as i started the car. WTF, im so pissed, i have test pipes and an aem intake. I havent had a problem with any lights so far but soon as i forget about some stupid sensor its on permenitly. Can someone please help, im kinda new and tried a search but couldnt really find what to do. Do you think the light will go off on its own after driving it for alittle while? Or what should i do?!?! PLEASE HELP this is so annoying.
You can either follow the ECU resetting instructions off the Technosquare website or I believe the light should go away after 3 or 4 successful starts without the problem being detected.

Urgh, thanks alot! This is such a pain in the ***. Something so stupid i forget to do causes that stupid light to come on. Gonna try driving it around tongiht so hopefully it resets it self. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks again, if anyone else has any info to help please feel free to respond.
what you need to do is unhook the negative battery terminal overnight and i promise you it will go off. The computer holds a memory for a few hours if you unhook the battery so it has to be over night. And if you have a problem which you obviously don't it will come back on after a day or so.
