Default Opinions on Technosquare ECU

I am planning on sending my ECU to technosquare to get reprogrammed on wednesday. I just wanted some opinions on it and those of you that have it do you think its worth it and is there a noticable difference. Thanks

I just did mine last week. I got the "Crawford Flash". I had been working with both Doug at Crawford and Danny at TSU. My mods are mostly Crawford, and both recommended that I go with the flash that they both jointly developed. Anyway, it hasn't been on my car long enough yet to really test, however I do feel more power above 3KRPM. The clincher for me though was the bump up in Redline. I was constantly bumping the redline on my 6MT at 6600RPM. With the new Redline at 7100RPM, I can now get to 60MPH in second gear. From what I've observed on mine (the last 3 days) Yes, it's a worthwhile thing to do, if you have done any mods and want to take advantage of them.

It raises the rev limiter to 7,100 RPM so you don't bounce off the rev limiter when shifting at 6,500 RPM. It also raises your top speed from 156 to 200 MPH. If you have installed Hi-flow Cats you are running lean at the mid RPM range. The re-flash will set your fuel to air ratio at 11.5 air to 1 fuel all the way to reline (see their web page). On my car, they pulled a spark plug prior to re-flash and it was colorless (white), after re-flash/thrust run, they re-pulled it and it was light tan (just right).

I'm not at all familiar with the "Crawford Flash". All I have right now is an Injen CAI which I installed two days ago but in a couple weeks I plan on getting the Crawford Plenum, an Injen or Borla exhaust, and test pipes. Which ECU flash would you recommend and what are the differences? Also when I get a Twin Turbo will Crawford reflash it for that? Thanks

Just tell Technosquare what mods are installed on the Vehicle and they will use the proper reflash software required. They have already done all the R&D for the common mod combinations.

If you want to get it flashed for the first time its $595 but if you want to get it reflashed after you do some heavier mods like supercharger, TT, or Nos its $150

Got the "L" Flash done while I was installing Vortech SC. Rev Limit is now at 7200, Speed Limit at 200+ and Throttle at !00%. Danny at TS is awesome. GREAT customer support. ECU was shipped FedEx at 2:00PM, received at TS the following day at 10:18AM, flashed within 45 minutes and returned. Total time from removal to installation was 51 hours.

It seems the big culprits for running lean are the high flow cats and plenae. Has anyone dyno'd an '04 with these mods and found a lean a/f curve?
