Nismo Or Jwt Cams For Hp Gains
I can't wait to get some decent tires/suspension so I can floor it in 1st gear again.
With my combo of mods - along with the JWT cams, in 1st gear after 5000rpms, the tires lose grip and the tact jumps to redline.
I'm guessing the main culprits for losing grip on stock tires w/track rays are the tilton, 3.9 final drive, and jwt cams
I had most of my bolt on mods put on at the same time so I can't comment on the JWT's loss of low end torque because my car's low end torque is either the same or higher than stock

If you're going NA for sure, I'd get the tomei cams or wait for what crawford comes up with.
JWT and nismo cams are a good compromise to get a decent boost, not lose TONS of low end torque, and still be suitable for FI.
I think I've heard average install cost is 800-1200 probably depending on the installer's experience
I don't know though. I paid 2500 to have all my stuff installed in one sitting

i'm on my way to a pretty similar setup, might go with the tomei's though... still looking at what would go best with a bit of strokin'

last dyno I was at 268 - kinda disappointing, but oh well. I'm going to try out another dyno just for curiosity sakes.
My A/F still needs to get tweaked. I'm getting an A/F gauge installed so I can log with a laptop and have TS more accurately tune my car - gonna be about a month I'd guess till I see what numbers I'm putting down.
JWT is WAY to go. Set Idle at 850RPM, car will not stall anymore. High lift spring will help if you raise top RPM above 7000. Techno Square is good, but, you can take it in for custom ECU reflash. I use APEXI SAFCII to correct air/ fuel mixture.
