Default Engine Bay

Thought I would share with my fellow members my summer project on my Z. You may have seen some of my pictures on other posts, but I would like to think that I am finally done. (Yea... Right)

The following is a list of changes (mods) that I made.

1. Painted (red) seven engine bay pieces.

2. JWT POP Charger

3. Z-Xtreme grounding kit.

4. Engine Bay Polished Bolt Kit.

5. Polished Radiator Cover

I will follow this thread with six pictures showing my project.

Feel free to give me your input positive or negative.

When you clean your popcharger use the red K&N oil so that it will match everything else. Good work.

Powdercoat the plenum black or maybe even red. Before I put the crawford plenum on my Z I had the engine cover, stock plenum, and battery /brake covers all painted candy red with a gold underlay and it looked incredible.

Do you know if the red oil will change it to red?
Or will it turn it into a funky color.

The K&N oil turned my popcharger filter a very dull red. Not what I wanted but better than blue.

Im pretty sure that if you wash out all of the blue and then put the red oil on, it will look red just like a new K&N.

Looks pretty sweet. I agree with coachk that you need to do something about the plenum. I think that a polished stock plenum would look wicked otherwise get your stock one powdercoated black. I think that if you went with red it would be a little too much IMHO.

Great job!!
