Same thickness or more likely the difference is negligible, so CR change is less then a 10th and Nissan still says 10.3:1 on both motors.
Nismo one is 0.7mm thick, anybody know the Z gasket thickness?

how can different head gaskets not effect compression ratio? that doesnt make since, unless they're both the same size and one is just stronger.

when people post please research your facts so we can make this a very educating post, no one makes a rear wheel drive SUV crossover, thats just dangerous, i think Sz28r is correct in saying the SUV's are FWD or AWD, and obviously the z is rear wheel.

Dude....I am laughing....YOU are the one posting inaccurate information!
The FX35 is a rear wheel drive crossover SUV (AWD is an option on the FX35, and standard on the FX45)....not FWD as you posted.

a) virtually all SUVs with "transverse" mounted engines are Front Wheel drive with rear wheels engaged for AWD (if optioned) operation on demand. For example an Acura MDX, Honda Pilot, etc.
b) virtually all SUVs with "longitudinal" mounted engines are
" Rear" Wheel drive with front wheels engaged for AWD (if optioned) operation on demand. For example an Infintiti FX35, Ford explorer , Chevy Suburban, etc etc.......
