I will be doing transmission oil and defferential oil change soon, I prefer Motul synthetic, I know the trans oil is 75W90,but just confused about which defferential oil model I should go with and how many liters I need respectively.

 

look in your owners manual..., chapter 9 should cover it

 

I have already checked, there is no mention about how many liters I need. Someone call LSD, it is defferential oil?

 

Takes about one and a half to two quarts of 75w90. Redline or Royal purple all the way.

 

I just phoned Motul for the oil model, but they told me I can use 75W90 in both Trans and LSD.Is it safe for my car? I am living in Vancouver,canada.

 

As long as it is a manual Trans. Then yes it's the same.

But, someone said it would be less effective if I put 75W90 full synth in LSD. Why? or this is just personal preference?
