I am running in the 13.5s on 19" wheels, 5AT and I have not had the energy to install the brake fuse switch that I purchased. My 60ft times have been 2.1 ish and my traps in the 105-106mph range. I need some 17" DRs and the brake fuse switch installed. Unfortunately, it is getting cold up here in Iowa and our local 1/4 mile track is now done for the year. I think high 12s to low 13s are very much a reality with the fuse/DR combo and my current mod list. I very much want a different rear end and possibly a valve body upgrade to finish things off. With winter coming, I decided to finish my Home Theater instead of doing anything more to the car this year.

zzzya let me know if you need help finishing your home theater
We are direct with over 50 companies now.
Congrats on a bad @ss car by the way...although even you would probably agree that 350 is not really an NA possibility without switching internals.

well here goes
Nismo forged replacement crank
Nismo Heads
NIsmo Titanium Valves
Nismo Valve springs
Nismo Spec 1 Cams
Nismo VTC pulleys
Possible Exaust side valve timing and Cams from 2005 track model
Pauter Forged Rods
Aebs Sleves (100mm bore)
Forged Pistons compatible with Nismo heads and AEBS sleeves (11 oe 12:1 Compression)
Headers
Tommy Kaira Individual Throttle bodies
ECU reprogram or AEM ems
That well yield a short stroke high compression big bore high reving 3.8 liter engine like the new GT3 997 aka Former Porshe cup car engine. Except we have a V angled engine.
That is the ultimate N/A Z but they are far from bolt on mods!
I think that will give you 350 hp to the wheels or more with racing gas!
Oh and don't forget higher capacity oil tank and oil cooler raising the oil capcity to a little over 6 liters!! Oh and a nismo thermostat, buel pump and oil pump.
That will run you around 15 grand!! It's the only way I'll go. Once the car is paid for. It just got transferred from a lease to a buy!!
Oh and Quaife differential and a moton suspension system!!
Nismo rims.
20 grand well spent!
Seriously monster
brakes, I think I'll get brembo's from a track edition.

I think 350 rwhp is very much a possibility NA, but very costly. I honestly think a stand alone fuel management system or TS in your backyard would be necessary to really make it happen. This car seems very fussy about timing, especially on the 5AT cars. Yes, internal work is necessary and that is where the dollars start to really climb, until more competition and parts are available. I would still personally rather have a well built NA car over a turbo car any day. That is why I am still NA and will continue to stay NA. I only wish HT equipment was as cheap as modding this car, I am nearing the 100K mark on that damn thing already.

Esprit car had built heads
You'll find what Phoenix is saying is correct - you are not going to hit 300 at the wheels with the JWT's - I'd say around 280 with the ported heads and a good ecu tune (with headers of course). The JWT are a terrific cam all around, but they won't set any power records.
You'll need to look into the Esprit cams or the bigger Tomeis (what I am going with on my car) to eclipse the 300 hp level.
Also at what lift did they achieve the extra cfm?

Yeah...thats why when you mod a car you gotta think about just getting a different one.
Get a 997S and be done.

No offense to Orange Peel, but that list is WAY off.
He is listing ALL of that for $15k????
Don't be mis-lead as that's ONLY for parts. While his formula is getting close, his parts list looks more like items he has just seen scattered through-out the net. FYI, the TK ITBs are $10k retail... and those WILL NOT work our ECU!!! So add another $2k for a solid tuned management system.
350rwhp can, and will be hit NA... However it's going to take a serious cam, and serious dinero.

This was a fun read...especially where you guys got called out for having a sissy-fit by a 17 year old! Anyway, glad to see everyone calmed down. Looking forward to seeing dyno numbers.
