Default Amuse Hi-Tech ROM VTC??

Ok guys I was looking through an old issue of Super STreet and they had the Power House Amuse 350Z and S2000. Now I've seen the Best Motoring video of the S2000 hauling **** so I'd only hope the same for the PHA 350Z. Ok, I was looking at the specs for the PHA 350Z and it listed that particular part - Amuse Hi-Tech ROM VTC. What is that? Something to do with the ECU and perhaps VTC? Well, I went to the japanese amuse website although I can't read japanese and I found something that looked like a link with ROM and VTC somewhere in the title but sadly it wasn't a link. REading further I looked at the specs for the S2000 and it had something similar. It said Amuse Hi-Tech ROM REV and also stated (only raises rev limiter to 9,200 rpm). ....???? So guys this may be good aftermarket part we can get our hands on. Tell me what you think.

Power House Amuse does their own ECU tuning. Unfortunately in order to do their ECU tuning you will either need to send your ECU to Japan for a re-flash or purchase a complete ECU from PHA (which would be very expensive). Also, the Japanese Domestic Market cars dont have to meet the same emmissions standards that US cars need to, so you may have some compatability problems trying to install their ECU tuning in a US car. The best route for you is to send your ECU to TechnoSquare in CA, I doubt PHA is getting any more HP than TechnoSquare is...

plus, Japan used different kinda gas (their octane level are way higher), and their ambient temperture are different.

FYI, many manufacutures already has ECU tunning solutions.
