Oooh, so what exactly is being done?

I'd love to see a 350whp NA Z.

its probablly be in the 300hp, not 350. So basically the tune up is going to give around the 60hp gain.

I also know what they did. After a long phone conversation with Doug about 2 weeks ago, I can say that some of you are very close with your "predictions" while others are completely out to lunch. It's funny how the G35 guys all know what's going on (due to an innocent post on another message board) but the 350Z guys are left in the dark. (sorry, I just had to do that.)

Doug, are you having any trouble with throwing the CEL? Also, why wait so long just to "dyno"? And lastly, do you now need to spend some time with Technosquare to update the "Crawford ECU reflash"? I would think that this would be needed to get the most out of your new project...

The real thing that I'm worked up on is how much RWHP and how much money? That, my friend, is all I'm waiting to see...

Until you said that, I was thinking forged internals with 8.5:1 and high boost TT.

I'm thinking, since the oil pan was off, that new rods and pistons have been put in (high compression?, forged?), and headwork with cams.

Will your "tune-up" work with 91 octane CA gas?

You have to take the oil pan off to get the timing chain cover off. So the prediction of the pistons being changed most likly may not have happened whether it was for turbo or NA. Im thinking its sometihng to do with the heads. Maybe ported and polished heads, honed and polished intakes, new cams, and factory valves put in at a different angle. But besides guessing im clueless.

But whatever they do it will be awesome im sure.

Default Official Announcement

We have dyno'd the project. The gains that were made were not enough to please us, thus we haven't any information to report. The project is still our top priority, but is going to need a few more weeks of development.

We want to again thank everyone for your interest!!!!

We will keep you posted.

Nope, we're out of the shop on Friday... Can't keep everyone working on a major holiday!

If you're still in town on Monday, we'll be here!
