DIY: crank pulley removal/install trick
to remove the crank pulley, many of the suggestions talk about cranking the car over, or putting it in 6th (won't work for automatics), or strapping it to stuff with rachet straps, or using the inspection window and wedging something to jam the flywheel. there's also just front end service mode removing everything for access for a powerful impact wrench.
but all you need to do is take an old alternator side serpentine belt and you can easily 1 man unlock it yourself. the goal is essentially to get the serpentine belt to eat itself as you go counterclockwise to unlock the crank pulley bolt. you can do the opposite orientation and jam it back clockwise to reinstall/fasten your replacement. this is not vehicle specific and will work with any car
for me, i had to add an extra bit to help jam it. i just used the rubber from a strap wrench

with this, i was able to open it with a regular 19mm socket and 3/4" drive breaker bar. it is a bit difficult to see the orientation, so i made a diagram that is pretty much self-explanatory:

i hope this helps someone
