the sikky headers should just pop right in. You might have to have the starter out but i never had any problems with them.

by the way for all of the sikky swap kit users. I just got my new poly motor mount from them. It looks to be revised. The new one actually has a metal insert with threads on either in unlike the previous one that i posted. If you have the older style mounts with no billet center piece that can be unthreaded from the CNC base then call them and get yours updated before you have a problem with the mount splitting like i did. They have a lifetime warranty on them. I will try to post a picture of what im talking about later.

To get my Sikky headers to fit I had to take the die grinder to my passenger side bell housing. I probably only removed 1/16-1/8" of material. They do not exit parallel or towards the direct rear of the car. Just makes fabricating an exhaust a little more difficult.

Yeah the starters is out and ive pulled off the coilpacks and plugs. Still cant get them in. They better have sent the right ones! With their track record of shipping me parts so far it wouldnt surprise me.

Make sure you don't have the motor mounts on the wrong side. Mine hit just a bit until I found I had made this error.

I have mine connected to the LS. Look at the pics in my build thread toward the end and you will see the connection near the TB. Franz cut the stock lines back near the bottom of the car so we could route them further away from the headers.

Good to hear. I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with the Sikky shifter. There are a number of T56 variations out there and it could most definitely impact the shifter performance.

From what i have tested so far with my ls1 t56 there are mild changes in height and length from the shifter blocks. but i believe the ls2 shifter block is not the right length from what i measured the ls2 shifter block is 5mm longer than the ls1 shifter block. from what i measured on the sikky shifter vs the hem ls1 shifter there is a 4.6 mm distance and i think this tiny amounts causing some of the issues. maybe because of ware and tear or some other reason. Ill have the finished product of the shifter fix tomato night and will be able to test the fix sometime Friday.

Has anyone on here other than brew actually used the chase bays harness? If so, shoot me a pm if you wouldn't mind. Thanks

Also, for those who went a different route, who did you go with for the harness?

yeah I have the Chase Bays harness what info do you need on it. The Harness is top notch in my opinion and would not do it any other way. I should have install pic of the harness in a week or two.. So be on the look out on my build thread.

Well i just went to install my harness and it has the wrong coilpack plugs on it. So i had to wait over a month, got it late for the show, and now its the wrong oSo ne.. What the ****! This is retarded. So what else is gonna be wrong with the chasebays harness?

So Logan, you worked at chasebays and swore by their harness in your car. So why are you changing it now? I can understand changing the sikky mounts to fueled racing but whats the problem with the chasebays harness?

i swore by it because it worked on my car but there were issues that i had to fix. The TPS was wired backwards and i was blowing fuses left and right until i fixed some splices. I was the original test dummy. And after recommending it to alot of guys and then they would receive them and all sorts of problems would pop up. I worked with VAS to get his to work and helped him out with all the information i had but he ended up spending tons of money just to get his to work. Even sent his back in 3 different times just to have it shipped to the wrong address by their old shipping and receiving guy. After 2 years of working there and dealing with angry customers day after day i started looking for another job in the field i have my degree in MIS and CS. I would suggest currentperformance.com they are a LSX wiring specialist and specialize in only LSX swaps and wiring. I just got their standalone harness loomed in the same nylon braided loom for alot cheaper than the wrong plug and play one chase bays offers. Vas was actually the first Z chassis that any harness was made for so that chassis hadnt even been tested and still doesnt work but is still offered :/

yea you got a stand alone so you might have a better chance of it working since it wasnt plug and play to your chassis.

The other thing is he uses his own colors not the stock GM colors. So if he runs out of a color he will just substitute it for a color that he has on the racks so not every harness has the same colors. But if you need a pinout let me know edafe.

I wish more people would just get a full standalone like I did and wire it themselves. I had zero issues integrating mine and I hate electrical.
