I believe it should leave the TB and go back to the radiator and the hose by the radiator cap should run to the overflow tank. Correct? I don't have a spot to run the hose from the TB so can I just cap it off? I've seen that people bypass the coolant to throttle body but I would still need a place for that line to go if I can't cap it off. Any suggestions? This is the spot Im talking about:

This is how I route mine..

Has anyone done the LS swap into an Auto car? I'm still hunting a donor car and I've found lots of good deals, but they're auto. If I'm wanting to end up standard, you guys think there will be any big obstacles?

Are you saying you have an auto Z or the LS cars are auto?

The Z is auto, the LS is stick. I'm wanting to do the swap, starting off with an automatic car, ending up with a stickshift LS car.

I'm assuming there wouldn't be much difference in doing the LS1 in a G35 instead of a Z, correct?

It shouldn't be to hard but don't be surprised that you will have to cut holes in your car for the pedal and master cylinder. Shifter may require some clearancing as well.

My g35 was auto and now has ls1 and t56. It's just about up and running so it's possible.

Question for you guys. Where did you wire the reverse lights off of the tranny?

I guess I was more worried about wiring issues. I understand that I'll need the mechanisms to run the clutch, and the interior pieces from stick shift Z or G. I'd like to retain as much 'stockness' of the car as possible when it comes to switches and dash pieces etc. I've read about the difficulties on the Tach and the Nissan CanBus system, but I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to wiring. Well, more ignorant than the rest of it! Heh.

Also, I understand that, if they motor is put close enough to the firewall (like with the Fueled Racing mounts), and you're running a GTO shifter setup, the shifter ends up in the correct place. Is this correct? I also understand that, from the bellhousing to the Shifter on the T56 tranny is is something like 34 or 35". I believe the new Comaro TR6060 setup ends up being the exact same length. Anyone know of any reason I can't run that transmission instead? I think Royal T was going to do something similar to this.

I've heard of Z fever in the F/I forums, but not for an LS swap. Maybe put up a thread in the SE regional forum and see if the locals can help you out.

The Z33Art drag chassis is officially sold! Luckily someone with more than enough money bought it and will be putting a turbo LS3 in it... of which they are going to hire me to mount for them!
