THIS. And Chase bays wiring harnesses seem underwired. I have been working on a s14 240sx ls1/t56 swap for the last couple months. Chasebays harness with every plug connected with key on caused the ground wire on the backside of the head and the coil pack harnesses and coil packs themself get extremely hot to the touch. Engine would turn over but never started. Harness was removed, sent back to Chasebays for diagnosis and returned to us because Chasebays could find nothing wrong. We ordered a standalone wire harness from a different company, wired it in by ourselves to the 240sx chassis and it fired right up and idled great. No wires get hot anymore and the engine runs. Chasebays seems to either use too small gauge wire for everything or run too many sensors off of one single wire. Also, Chasebays has no fuses or relays in their harness. This new harness did. If Chasebays used a fuseblock, it should blow the fuse before the wires overheat.

Just my experience. Take it as you wish.

Plus, chasebays has a no return policy once the harness is shipped. $600 sitting in a box in the garage now. Can't sell it to anyone else because it doesn't work. Well, wouldn't be able to sell it to anyone else and be able to sleep at night knowing that it doesn't work.

Well i had some of the same probelms but ive been fixing them as i find them. Most recently i figured out the crank sensor was wired backwards too. So at least when im done ill be able to to do anything with a wiring harness. Lol i did talk to chase at chasebays and he helped out a bit.

As for the sikky shifter im still having issues. So im just done for this year since its gonna snow soon. On to the turbo setup! I need to sell the sikky long tubes and the exhaust i had made a few weeks ago. Please snd out the word to anyone doing a swap. Once that stuff is gone i can bring the car to the shop to start the turbo manis and piping. PLEASE HELP!

Wish I would have done this ^^ instead of dealing with Chasebays. Time for first startup so we'll see how much they did wrong with my harness too! It's unfortunate that a select few were really hyping up chasebays a few months back and now everyone is saying stay away from them.

Keep in mind I have not started mine but I used speed scene wiring. Great support and you send in the pcm, gas pedal, and tb and they make sure it works before they send it back.

Endless summer do a charge back dude. You can do it with your bank or CC company. Don't be screwed over by a small company. If your product doesn't work like it said it would and you have returned it for nothing to be done to it then its not your fault and they will help. Isn't the first time IV seen customers do it or even go to the lengths of tryin to sue to get their money back. You could always call the BBB see what they say to due

I will let everyone know how my harness goes, but I did without a lot of things so fingers crosses, and if it does not work.. We will just make our own, problem solved.

With the wiring harness, there are other companies that have a good product...we have seen diebold autosport, currentperforamance and even speedscene wiring. I was going to go with currentperforamance but went with PSIconversion. They as well have a good product as it seems but the proof is in the pudding once it is all systems go.

Turnaround time is quick. I ordered on Saturday, shipped out on Monday and here yesterday. Given they have it instock and any needed modifications they will do pretty much the same or next day as in my case.

Plus they worked with me on the weekend, I left a message Friday night and they gave me a call back on Saturday to discuss my build.

NOW I am posting this cause if any company handles their business like this then they are in it to win it.

It has a DLC connector and all the underwire for the dash/gauge hookups. I am going to attempt to use the stock tach and figure it out' if it becomes too much a headache then I will use a speedhut tach.

PSI for the win and edafe call chase bays they have their stuff corrected now with the inj/coils on separate fuses now might want to go ahead and send yours back and let them fix it other wise with all of the powers combined like they have yours setup now you will just keep blowing your main fuse do to it drawing over 40 amps email Kevin@chasebays.com

well just got with Logan who also has the FR kit this is how it's made so the way I had it mounted was right...nothing against FR but ill end up modding the mount for my liking

Just got off the phone with Todd at FR and all is good now, just needed a pic to be sure of mounting point(confusion on my end). I am going back to the shop on Monday to refit, also since I have a 4L80e there is no mount available for it from FR. Todd advised me to mock it up with the standard tranny mount that comes with the kit and make a template with the 4L80e and he will me make a new one for free and have it available with their kits going forward. AWE-some!!! to FR

We used the same harness on my buddy's s14 and it fired up first crank and idles great! Instructions were great and anytime we called, we got a phone call back shortly. Even after hours. Great customer support!
